Standing up for Liberal Students
The Australian Liberal Students' Federation ('ALSF') is the peak body for centre right Liberal Clubs across Australia. While fiercely independent, the ALSF largely prescribes to the platform and values of the Liberal Party of Australia.
What we offer
Involvement with the ALSF and Liberal Clubs provides opportunities to:
-
Network;
-
Campaign for Liberal values;
-
Make new friends;
-
Debate against fellow Liberals and the Left;
-
Gain work experience in politics, and;
-
Learn new things.
Representing all student's interests
Boasting more accredited universities than the left-wing National Union of Students ('NUS', whose own auditors label it mismanaged, factionally paralysed, and nearly insolvent), the ALSF can legitimately claim to represent all mainstream tertiary students in Australia.
Also unlike the NUS, the ALSF:
-
Advocates on behalf of those studying at a TAFE, college and apprentice level;
-
Refrains from paying wages and stipends to its Executives, and;
-
Condemns the use of violence to support a political agenda.
